Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery to load, unload, and transport materials safely throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by strictly adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and protocols.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate stock placement using RF scanners and inventory management systems.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow, meet daily productivity targets, and ensure timely shipping and receiving.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, including labeling, sorting, and organizing pallets.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience operating Counterbalance or Reach Trucks.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and operating heavy machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
