Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts (reach trucks, order pickers) and pallet jacks to move inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Load & Unload: Load and unload trucks and shipping containers in strict accordance with safety protocols and shipping manifests.
- Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through scanning, counting, and organizing stock.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
- Customer Support: Coordinate with logistics coordinators to ensure timely processing of orders and resolve any shipment discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and up-to-date Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or logistics preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate various warehouse environments.
- Availability: Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and flexible shifts to meet business demands.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
