Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, locate, and stack merchandise.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring cargo integrity and timely processing.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock organization meets company standards.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and warehouse policies.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate warehouse management software.
