Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and organizing stock according to established procedures.
- Perform daily safety inspections on equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
- Assist with order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing shipments for delivery.
- Keep the warehouse organized and clean to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Follow all safety protocols and communicate any hazards or issues to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and scissor lifts as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required; Reach Truck or Counterbalance preferred).
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not strictly required for motivated candidates.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety regulations.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory or scanning barcodes.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
