Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
- Load & Unload: Accurately load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured properly and free of damage.
- Inventory Management: Utilize RF scanners and inventory systems to accurately record stock movements and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols, including conducting daily pre-shift forklift inspections.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Material Handling: Stack and organize pallets according to warehouse standards and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (Highly Rated or Certified forklift license).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- License: Valid Driver's License required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Background Check: Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
