Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklifts to ensure safe operation.
- Organize and stack inventory in designated storage areas to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Verify counts and quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of previous forklift operating experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong ability to read and understand shipping orders and manifests.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if required.
