Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock locations are properly labeled and organized.
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure forklifts are in safe working condition.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Keep the warehouse aisles clear and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
- Report any damaged goods or equipment issues to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A or Class B Forklift License (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret shipping manifests.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must be punctual and have reliable transportation.
