Responsibilities
- Operate electric and diesel forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and shipping containers, ensuring proper documentation.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure safety and mechanical integrity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by adhering to 5S principles and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehousing or distribution center environment.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and labeling.
