Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate documentation of stock movements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all 5S safety standards.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding equipment handling.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily productivity and shipping targets.
- Perform routine visual inspections and minor maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as required during downtime.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CLP/HAZMAT certification preferred but not required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
