Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect equipment before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize shipping and receiving processes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and labeling.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
