Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load and unload materials.
- Inventory Management: Help maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock in the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Material Handling: Stack, sort, and palletize products according to safety guidelines.
- Shipping & Receiving: Assist in the receiving and shipping process, ensuring all documentation is correct.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Basic English language skills for safety instructions and communication.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends or overtime as needed.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid government-issued ID.
- Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to obtain forklift certification through company training.
