Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure proper working order and safety compliance.
- Organize warehouse inventory, ensuring stock is stored correctly and easily accessible.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Accurately document and log inventory movements using handheld scanners or computer systems.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain one upon hiring).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is a plus but not required.
