Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently drive forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and Unload: Secure and transport goods from incoming trucks to storage areas and prepare outbound shipments.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts and maintain precise records of stock movement using WMS systems.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment in a timely manner.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and report any maintenance issues with machinery immediately.
- Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse, aisles, and dock areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift License: Must possess a current, valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and order processing.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and a track record of punctuality.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screen.
