Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner to load and unload materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring aisles are clear and safe.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Verify inventory accuracy when moving stock and updating inventory logs as needed.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification: Must hold a current OSHA-compliant forklift license.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for spotting discrepancies in inventory or damaged goods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and have a consistent work history.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
