Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is properly secured and organized.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on forklifts and machinery.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation using warehouse management systems.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and traffic management within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and warehouse organization.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid and current forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable forklift operation experience in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret shipping manifests.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
