Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of goods to prevent damage or loss.
- Follow all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Inspect equipment for any mechanical issues and report maintenance needs to management immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets efficiently.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including sweeping, organizing, and cleaning work areas.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding quality control and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CDL Class A/B is a plus).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Basic computer literacy for logging data or operating warehouse management systems.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime, as needed.
