As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our supply chain, ensuring inventory is managed accurately and shipments are loaded and unloaded with precision. We value hard work and offer a supportive environment where your safety and growth are our top priorities.
Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) and other heavy machinery to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by staging and organizing stock according to location codes and specifications.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure forklifts are in safe, working condition.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient warehouse flow.
- Perform minor routine maintenance on equipment and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10 or equivalent) is required.
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance forklift and/or Reach Truck is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
