Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and stock placement according to warehouse management systems.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Inspect equipment for defects and report maintenance issues to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area to optimize workflow and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification; on-the-job training provided for qualified candidates.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking inventory.
