Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse efficiently.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of the forklift and warehouse equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Organize inventory, stack pallets, and maintain accurate stock records.
- Follow standard operating procedures for material handling to prevent accidents and damage.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sweeping and degreasing the floor when necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid and current forklift certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must have reliable transportation.
