Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) to move, load, unload, and stack materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts for defects and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure equipment safety.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding warehouse operations and hazardous materials.
- Manage inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment during night shifts.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA 10/30 preferred or equivalent certification).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and weekends as required.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
