Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts (Clamp, Reach, Pallet Jack) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift forklift inspections and safety checks to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Assist in the breakdown of pallets and proper disposal of waste materials.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator with valid credentials (for example, forklift certification from an accredited training provider).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
