Responsibilities
- Safe Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, Pallet Jack) to transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Load & Unload Freight: Efficiently load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring cargo is properly secured and organized.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counts, picking, packing, and scanning products to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety standards, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and report any hazards or equipment issues immediately.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep workstations and aisles clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure a safe environment for all team members.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and safety checklists, accurately and on time.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred) or willingness to obtain one upon hiring.
- License: Valid Driver's License (Class C or higher).
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is highly preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and climb ladders safely.
- Availability: Must be available for Immediate Start and flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency for reading safety labels and communicating with supervisors.
