Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning, labeling, and organizing stock according to company protocols.
- Perform routine safety inspections of the forklift and warehouse environment to identify and report potential hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and free of obstructions to comply with OSHA safety standards.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipment, including packaging and labeling.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (Forklift 1 & 2, Reach Truck, or High-Lift Pallet Jack).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and material handling procedures.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory scanning and data entry.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
