What You Will Do:
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to safely load, unload, and transport goods within the facility.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections on all machinery to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Organize and stock inventory to ensure efficient retrieval and order fulfillment.
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning products and logging stock movements into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Perform routine safety inspections on all forklifts and equipment before and after each shift.
- Ensure the warehouse floor remains clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving targets efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) license or valid Forklift Operator certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a professional setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina required to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid driver's license (Class C) is preferred.
