Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas, trucks, and loading docks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and verifying quantities against manifests.
- Organize warehouse storage areas to maximize space and efficiency.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely shipping and receiving of orders.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CFL).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory or operating warehouse management systems.
