Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) safely to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper tagging and scanning procedures.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse layout and maintaining a clean, orderly workspace.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CFA) is required.
- Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if necessary.
