Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring cargo is secured and damage-free.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular cycle counts and documenting stock movements.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Perform routine pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
