Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Follow inventory management protocols and document material movements accurately
- Collaborate with team members to maintain organized storage areas and workflow efficiency
- Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company policies
- Assist in maintaining a clean, hazard-free work environment
- Participate in ongoing training for equipment operation and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse or forklift operation experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and overtime as needed
- Valid driver's license preferred
