Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts (including Reach Trucks and Order Pickers) to transport, load, and unload materials and products.
- Maintenance Checks: Perform pre-shift inspections of all machinery to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Inventory Control: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy against inventory logs and picking tickets.
- Workspace Hygiene: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by adhering to 5S standards and OSHA regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow and meet daily production goals.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logbooks and safety reports.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (CDL Class A/B is a plus but not required for general forklift positions).
- Experience: Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid Driver’s License.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends if required.
