Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload freight trucks, ensuring accuracy and preventing damage to goods.
- Verify inventory counts and update warehouse management systems (WMS) accordingly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform routine safety inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Assist in shipping and receiving duties, including packaging and labeling.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and reduce downtime.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehousing or logistics.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
