Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all products are stored according to safety and organization standards (FIFO/FEFO).
- Perform routine safety inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and document all material movements using warehouse management systems.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a proven commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to read and understand warehouse labels, pick lists, and safety signs.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
