Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport merchandise safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Verify inventory counts against packing lists and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to optimize stock placement and streamline retrieval processes.
- Assist in packing orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and data entry.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (loading docks).
