Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently drive and operate various forklifts (e.g., Reach Trucks, Counterbalance, Order Pickers) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the receiving, stocking, and organizing of inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and easy accessibility.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies. Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper packaging and labeling standards are met.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by keeping aisles clear and debris-free.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs, checklists, and paperwork associated with warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Certification: Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory counts and order fulfillment.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with RF scanners is a plus.
