Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize warehouse stock according to strict safety protocols.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a zero-accident workplace.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping accuracy.
- Perform general warehouse duties including sweeping, organizing, and tagging inventory.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments and verify freight documentation.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years of previous forklift experience in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and understand shipping labels.
- Must be available for overtime and weekend shifts as required.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
