Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to safely load, unload, and transport products to designated storage areas.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure they are in proper working order and meet safety standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and verifying stock quantities using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Organize warehouse aisles and storage racks to ensure efficient workflow and easy access to materials.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding hazardous materials and heavy machinery.
- Assist in the packing and preparation of orders for shipping with precision and speed.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is strongly preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with scanning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, to meet business demands.
