Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate electric and internal combustion forklifts and pallet jacks in compliance with all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stage materials with precision to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stock counting and cycle counts, ensuring the warehouse remains organized and up-to-date.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, reporting hazards immediately to management.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: No prior experience required for entry-level positions; on-the-job training provided.
- Certification: Possession of a valid forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
- License: Valid driver's license is required for site access.
