Job Summary
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that inventory is moved, stored, and retrieved efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, maintaining accurate records, and keeping your work area clean.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and ensure proper labeling of stock.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Perform basic cleaning and organization of the warehouse floor.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Entry-level candidates are welcome; forklift certification is a plus but not required as we provide training.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to read shipping labels and logs.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
