Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe operating condition and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by properly tagging and shelving incoming stock.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to streamline operations and meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver's License is required.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Sacramento facility.
