Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in accordance with company safety protocols.
- Inspect forklifts and material handling equipment daily to ensure they are in safe operating condition and report any maintenance issues.
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery trucks using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning products and updating stock systems in real-time.
- Organize and stack pallets to maximize warehouse space and ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including packaging and order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory management software (preferred).
- Valid Driver’s License (not always required for indoor work, but beneficial).
