Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate stock placement in designated storage areas.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily for safety and functionality issues, reporting any maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, including palletizing and labeling.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods while operating machinery.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems (preferred).
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, cleanliness, and team collaboration.
