Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers: Safely move products using forklifts and pallet jacks to ensure timely distribution.
- Maintain inventory accuracy: Conduct cycle counts and ensure stock is organized and properly labeled.
- Perform safety checks: Inspect equipment daily, report maintenance issues, and adhere to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Order fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and speed.
- Keep the workspace clean: Maintain a tidy warehouse environment to prevent accidents and ensure efficiency.
- Document handling: Accurately complete daily logs, safety reports, and shift handovers.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift certification (OSHA 10 or equivalent) is mandatory.
- Experience: Previous experience operating stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety protocols and inventory accuracy.
- Availability: Must be available for flexible shifts, including weekends and nights if required.
