Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move materials efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Stock and retrieve inventory with high accuracy, ensuring proper organization and labeling.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs immediately.
- Loading/Unloading: Load and unload trucks with speed and precision, ensuring cargo security.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse and dock areas.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) is mandatory.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and following standard operating procedures.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
