Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, stock levels, and damages.
- Ensure the warehouse area remains clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and safety goals.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies strictly.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery or forklifts (1+ years preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
