Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (including sit-down and reach forklifts) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts daily to ensure they are in safe operating condition and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments by checking labels, barcodes, and quantity counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily productivity targets.
- Handle hazardous materials with strict adherence to safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator License (OSHA compliant) required.
- Previous experience operating sit-down and reach forklifts preferred.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory and tracking data.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
