Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Materials: Safely move pallets, boxes, and freight onto and off of trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Operate Equipment: Maintain and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery in accordance with safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Help organize and maintain the warehouse floor to ensure efficient workflow and accurate inventory tracking.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and following OSHA guidelines.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage and report any issues immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable means of transportation and be available for full-time shifts.
- Background Check: Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to be trained on forklift operations and safety procedures.
