Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to verify mechanical safety and report any defects immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and organize stock to optimize warehouse flow.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Keep work areas clean and organized to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed, including palletizing and shrink-wrapping.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL Class A/B is a plus but not required).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating heavy warehouse equipment.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when necessary.
