Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, move, and stack materials in warehouses and storage facilities.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and logs of materials handled.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations strictly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse floor for optimal efficiency.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CP, LF, or CL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of basic safety procedures and material handling.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and labeling.
