Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) to move, stack, unstack, and distribute materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts daily to ensure mechanical safety and proper operation; report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Load and unload shipments accurately, verifying quantities against packing lists to minimize errors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist in stock rotation as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning barcodes and logging data.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
