Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport palletized goods using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and internal safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counting and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues to management.
- Workspace Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (CPS, OSHA, or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery or forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and maneuvering in tight spaces.
- Background Check: Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality control.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime if necessary.
