Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery (Reach Truck, Pallet Jack, Order Picker) in a safe and efficient manner to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and organizing stock according to established warehouse management systems.
- Perform daily pre-operational checks on forklift equipment to ensure safety and functionality, reporting any maintenance issues immediately.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient warehouse flow.
- Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (LF, RF, or Class A/B/C) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy industrial equipment in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
